Anna Abbott, CPA
I have provided accounting, business advisory and tax services to individuals and businesses since 1998. My niche is my personal attention. I care about each and every client. I try to understand your particular circumstances so that I can take advantage of any tax law that may have an effect on your returns.
I worked for LR Compton CPA’s, Controller for Regional Mortgage Corp and then started my own practice in September of 1998. The experience that helps me with small businesses is not necessarily my accounting background, but the fact that I had a small business that had many challenges.
I was a Woolworth store manager and owned a paving company. These experiences set me apart from the average CPA in that I suffered through many sleepless nights wondering how to make payroll, and where the next customer is going to come from. These are issues many of us in the accounting field do not have to deal with as we usually just record and report.
The needs of the small business and individuals who do not necessarily have the wealth to seek professional assistance at every step was the impetus for starting my practice. My focus is on creating systems in order to do the most for the least amount of cost to my clients.
I am licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Colorado. I earned my accounting degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver.
